The first Mason Pearson brushes were made more than 130 years ago. One of its innovations was the rubber cushion pad that Pearson referred to as pneumatic. The pad gently massages scalps while making brushing more effective and efficient. The hairbrushes are still made by hand by the Pearson family in England. The plastic handles have the same shape as the original wooden handles and are finished by hand to remove sharp edges and ensure that hands are comfortable holding the brush. The bristle and nylon brushes are recommended for hair that is normal-to-thick in texture and long in length. The Handy size is larger than the portable Pocket size but smaller than the Medium size. It comes in pink, ivory, blue, and dark ruby colors. The premium-grade natural boar bristles are combined with nylon spike bristles. To clean, use a cleaning brush cross the bristles and make sure dead hair and scales from the scalp are removed from the rubber cushion pad.
